I found this on Pinterest this morning while creating a page for the Brooks. Enjoy and happy riding:) I hope the rain stops so I can attend the Peddler Tuesday Night Ride.
My mom is top notch at needlepoint. Crazy intricate psychedelic patterns that are more art than that Banksy poster you have in your living room. She also just heard about yarnbombing, then sent this picture over. It's part of a collection of some of the year's best street art, and some Banksy.
Just kidding, I like Banksy. If it weren't for Banksy, there would have been someone else.
We have a lot of super talented artists and graphic designers in Memphis and I would love to see them get together and do a poster show similar to Art Crank. If anybody feels inclined to organize one I would throw a little bit of energy behind it.
I love to see other people making stuff happen in Memphis. Aimee is coordinating an Art Bike Parade and if I didn't have other obligations I would be there in force. So if you go please take lots of pictures.
Some friends (you might know them as Electrocity) and I are are working on an exhibition of Art Bikes. We haven't set a date yet but I wanted to give you the heads up so you can start working on something. To whet your appetite check this Mike Giant x Bahati Bike, as seen on Hypebeast:
